Our Story

Welcome To Plants On Wheels

My name is Piet and my wife Susan, run our own little business; Plants on Wheels. We sell exotic plants which entails deliveries over long distances. Our current vehicle, a GWM 2.2 petrol model, is very heavy on fuel and we would like to replace it with a Mahindra Scorpio which is much more fuel efficient.
We are both SASSA pensioners, and the money we receive does not go very far. We started selling exotic plants to supplement our income. This venture entails making deliveries over a wide area.
The fuel price is therefore a very important component of our business. Our current vehicle is a GWM double cab 2.2 petrol model 2008. Being a double cab, the loading space is rather limited and when towing a trailer, the fuel consumption is very high. We therefore want to replace it with a Mahindra Scorpio single cab which uses half the amount of fuel. This will really help our business.

We exclusively specialise in quality succulents that are drought resistant for in home or outside use.

What are Succulents

Succulents are plants with fleshy, thickened leaves and/or swollen stems that store water. The word “succulent” comes from the Latin word sucus, meaning juice or sap. Succulents are able to survive on limited water resources, such as dew and mist, making them tolerant of drought. There are many different species and cultivars of succulents spanning several plant families, and most people associate succulents with Cactaceae, the cactus family. (Keep in mind, however, that while all cacti are succulents, not all succulents are cacti.)

Our succulent plants are guaranteed to be
the finest quality in the country!
